I just got done teaching a Tactical knife fighting class for a 3 letter Federal Agency, several of the men in the class came up to me and asked what kind of knife I carry. I pulled on the clip and out of my pocket came a SOG Trident.  I had the black frame with the multi-color blade. I flipped the blade out as it is spring assisted and held it up so everyone could see. I explained to them that I picked this style and maker because I found it to be reliable, comfortable and suited my needs when I knife fight. This is the knife I always knife fight with, this knife does it all and serves my propose. So, with that in mind, whether it was on deployment, or on the street: fighting, fixed, folding and etc. You should pick it up and let it feel natural in your hand and become an extension of your body.
